From Milwaukie, Oregon City and points south

• Go north on Mcloughlin Blvd, through Milwaukie, past the Eastmoreland golf course.
• Take an oblique right onto SE 17th Avenue
• Proceed on SE 17th northbound until it crosses over Powell Blvd.
• Merge onto SE Powell Blvd, westbound
• Take the first right (north) onto SE 13th Place
• Go straight (north) one block, turn right (east) onto SE Gideon St

From Wilsonville, Salem and points really south, via Ross Island Bridge

• From I-5 northbound, take exit 299A, "OR 43/Macadam Avenue"
• Follow the signs for the Ross Island Bridge (US 26 East)
• You will need to loop around a rather long block to reach the onramp onto the bridge
• Cross the Ross Island Bridge. First traffic light is SE Milwaukie Avenue. Left turns are not permitted onto SE Milwaukie.
  • Light traffic (use left lane): Go one block past Milwaukie and turn left onto SE 13th Place.
  • Heavy traffic (use right lane): Go one block past Milwaukie to SE 12th, take three right turns to get on SE Milwaukie northbound, then cross Powell.
• Proceed one block north and take the first right (east) onto SE Gideon.

From Wilsonville, Salem and points really south, via Marquam Bridge

• Continue on I-5 northbound over the Marquam Bridge
• Cross the Marquam Bridge; at the east end of the bridge, take the I-84 exit, then immediately take the "Water Avenue/Central Business District" exit
• Follow directions below from "SE Water Avenue"

From Beaverton, Hillsboro and the southwestern suburbs, via Marquam Bridge

• Proceed east on the Sunset Hiway (US-26), through the Vista Ridge Tunnel.
  (Get into the far right lane when you see the "Zoo" sign.)
• Take the I-405 south exit, "The Dalles/Salem"
• From I-405 south, merge onto I-5 north, following the signs for I-84 "The Dalles"
• Cross the Marquam Bridge; at the east end of the bridge, take the I-84 exit, then immediately take the "Water Avenue/Central Business District" exit
• At SE Water Avenue (first stop sign), turn right (south) and proceed six blocks to SE Clay.
• Turn left (east) onto SE Clay
• Go straight on Clay, turn right (south) onto SE 11th Ave
• Go straight (south) on 11th, past Hawthorne and Division. After crossing the double railroad tracks, the immediate first left is Clinton, with Gideon about 50 feet further on. Turn left (east) onto SE Gideon.

• Take the Banfield Freeway (I-84) westbound to the intersection with I-5. Bear left onto I-5 southbound.
• Follow instructions from exit 300B below.

From North Portland, Vancouver and points north.

• Take I-5 south, past the intersection with I-84.
• Take exit 300B, "Oregon City (US-26 east)/OMSI"
• Bear left as the ramp forks
• Stay to the left as the ramp curves around, and proceed straight (east) onto SE Belmont Street.
• Go straight on Belmont, turn right (south) onto SE 11th Ave.
• Go straight (south) on 11th, past Hawthorne and Division. After crossing the double railroad tracks, the immediate first left is Clinton, with Gideon about 50 feet further on. Turn left (east) onto SE Gideon.

Street parking is governed by the City of Portland regulations and is enforced Monday through Saturday. Avoid a ticket. Please park in the lot at the end of Gideon in a GFO space on those days.

Gideon dead-ends at a parking lot. Our spaces are marked with the initials GFO painted on the pavement. Our spaces are # 29 - 32 and 49 - 52. These are in rows 3 and 4 on the left as you enter the parking lot.
