The state of Oregon will celebrate its sesquicentennial on February 14, 2009. The Genealogical Forum of Oregon plans to honor this anniversary by recognizing and issuing certificates to qualifying descendants of those "First Families" of Multnomah County.
To qualify, you must submit an application and supporting documents to prove you are a direct descendant of an individual that resided in Multnomah County before 15 October 1905. Once the evidence is verified, you will be issued a certificate.
There is a fee of $20 for a certificate.
