Visit the GFO for Free The Genealogical Forum of Oregon invites you to research in our library for FREE the first Monday of each month. We have one of the largest independent genealogy libraries on the West Coast. Besides our Oregon collection, we have regional, national, and world-wide resources. Research assistants can give you a tour, answer questions, and assist with your research. For more information, call . *Non-members pay $5 visitor-fee except the first Monday of the month.* — Directions HELP Needed!!!!! The Forum needs receptionist/research assistants. Volunteer positions are open for both fill-in and permanent days. Please see more information about this fun and interesting way to help us help you. First Families of Multnomah County! Get a certificate to honor your ancestors who arrived before the Lewis and Clark exposition, 15 Oct 1905. See more information and download the application forms. Adopt a Library Volunteers Needed: The new brochures are done, and they look great. Now we need help from you to distribute them. To get out the word about the GFO and the great resources in our library, we need members to take a small batch of brochures to libraries in their neighborhoods. There is a list of libraries posted in the library. Please stop by the Forum soon to adopt your local library.
